Frequently asked questions
What is Insite Quality?
Insite is construction quality management software that digitises ITPs, inspections, snagging and sign-offs on site. Records are captured once on a phone, so evidence is never rebuilt from memory and handover packs are ready on completion.
How are inspections carried out on site?
Inspectors work from the same templates on a phone or tablet, at the work face. Each inspection is dated, located and signed, so there is a clear record of who checked what and when.
How does snagging work?
Snags are raised where they are found, with photos and a location against the plot or area. Each snag is assigned, tracked to close-out and time-stamped, so nothing is lost between the walk round and the fix.
Can Insite produce handover packs?
Yes. Handover packs build themselves from the inspections, sign-offs and evidence already captured on site, so the pack is ready on completion instead of being compiled in a scramble at the end.
Does it work without a signal?
Yes. Inspections are captured offline and sync automatically when the device is back in range, so basements and remote plots are no problem. Nothing is lost while you are out of coverage.
Can we use the same standard across every site?
Yes. The same inspection templates and ITPs are used everywhere, so quality is measured the same way on every project regardless of who is on site.
What quality reporting does Insite provide?
Insite shows pass rates by trade and by subcontractor, along with recurring defect types, so you can see where quality slips before it reaches the client inspection.
What platforms does Insite run on?
Insite runs on iOS, Android and the web, so site and office teams share the same live record. Setup takes days rather than months and training fits into a single toolbox talk.
