Insite started as a solution to a problem that many in construction face every day. One of our founders, Harry, was working as a site manager and using several different apps to record inspections. These tools often felt disjointed, requiring constant switching between them, and were either limited in functionality or difficult to navigate. Instead of making his job easier, they added unnecessary complexity and slowed things down.

After sharing his frustrations with the other co-founders, an idea began to take shape. What if there was a tool that truly worked for everyone on site? A solution that was easy to use, affordable, and built with construction teams in mind.

So, around a dining table, we got to work. We poured months of effort into developing our first product, Insite Audit & Snag, a simple app designed to streamline individual inspections. It was a proof of concept, and while it showed us the potential, our vision was bigger: to create a seamless, collaborative platform that would work on any device, from phone to desktop.

Today, Insite is a powerful platform used by subcontractors and contractors around the world. But we’re not stopping there. We are constantly evolving, adding new features, and listening to feedback to ensure our software stays at the forefront of what construction teams need.
