Audit & snag whilst offline, with automatic synchronisation

In our latest few updates, we've added list filtering, extended the grouping options and, most notably, added full offline usability, so no matter where you are working you can always stay up to date with your projects.

Working offline

Our latest update, 1.11.0, extends the work we did for 1.7.0, providing the ability to work completely offline including saving and editing images on items. Please note that this feature is currently available as a beta option which can be opted into via the image settings.

Whilst offline you can now:

• Create new projects with images
• Add new items with images
• Add images to existing items
• Edit new and existing images on items

If you want to make use of this beta feature, head to the Image Settings where it can be enabled.

We've extensively tested working offline but, as with all things in beta release, there may still be some issues. We would appreciate your patience with any issues and would be very grateful to hear of your feedback so we can make sure to make any fixes or improvements as quickly as possible.

List filtering & grouping by template

Whilst working on offline mode, we were able to release a couple of other updates since our last post. This included the ability to filter your lists as well as extending the list group by view mode to allow for grouping by template. On top of this, you will find the ability to Select all lists. These features combine to help you create project-level reports for multiple lists with much more ease.

Oh, and we've also made some performance updates and fixed a few bugs whilst we were at it!

Here's what we've added and fixed in 1.9.0 - 1.11.0:

Features added

• Offline image saving (beta) - to supplement 1.7.0, you can now add & edit images on items whilst offline
• List filtering - filter your lists to get to the information you need, quicker
• List select all - quickly select all lists for easier actioning and project reporting
• List group by template - group your lists by the template they were created from
• PDF report improvements - item status’ made clearer with the inclusion of coloured icons

• Status option issue from templates
• Default list privacy issue when set at the plan level
• Custom terms not updated on the menu
• Report theme colour issue

Our plans going forward:

Add drawings to locations

This highly requested feature will allow you to drop in your project drawings so you can tag issues against them for improved clarity when assigning a location.

Selective user permissions

This will allow you to control exactly what each user can do on your projects and lists, with added support for a read-only users type.

Import projects from Insite - Audit & Snag

We want to make it as easy as possible for all of our existing users on the original app, Insite - Audit & Snag, to upgrade to the new and improved Insite platform. As such we will soon provide an option to export your projects and have them available in Insite.
