Software for construction contractors

Insite is a construction project management platform covering site access, compliance, document control, snagging, site diaries, and reporting. Workers sign in on site from the gate or cabin. Sign-in times are recorded and a live list of who is currently on site is maintained. A worker cannot proceed until required compliance steps are complete: in this case, an induction must be opened and a revised RAMS must be signed before site access is granted. Induction forms are completed on site digitally, branded with the contractor's logo. Responses are stored against the individual rather than filed as paper documents. When a RAMS is revised, every person assigned to it is prompted to sign the new version. Signing is done on the same screen as reading the document, with no printing, scanning, or wet signatures required. No worker remains signed to a superseded version. From the project manager view, the platform shows every sign-in for a job including each person's hours and current on-site status. Timesheets are built automatically from sign-in data. Contractors and suppliers are held in a single directory. Insurance records are stored against each company. Opening a company record shows registered details, contacts, insurance status, every project they are involved in, and which of their staff are on site that day. Drawings are stored with full revision history. The current version is always the live version. Two revisions can be compared side by side or overlaid on top of each other to identify changes without printing multiple sets. Snagging records include photos, owner assignment, due dates, and location. Photo markup is done within the snag record and stays attached to it. Each snag is assigned to a named owner with a due date. Snags are pinned to a floor, area, and exact location on the drawing itself so the assignee can find the spot without interpreting a written description. Site diary entries are created per day with photos, a delay flag, and fields for weather, labour, deliveries, plant, and delays. Entries are contemporaneous and timestamped. Tasks raised from snags, checklists, and inspections are consolidated into a single task list. A plain-English query tool called Pulse reads across all project tools to answer questions. In the demo it counts who is on site and identifies an unsigned RAMS, flagging which specific individual among those assigned has not yet signed rather than listing the entire group. Progress reports of up to eight pages are generated from data already recorded on the project, including geotagged photos, team details, and the company logo. No manual data re-entry is required. Output is available as PDF or Excel. The platform is configurable per project so that only the relevant tools and processes are enabled for a given job.
